Hannah Jones
Athens, GA
Born in Par, England, Jones received her B.A. in Fine Art from the University of Georgia. Her paintings reflect interest in the hidden processes that direct the growth and behavior of organisms and micro-organisms. She interprets these behaviors through self-conceived equations of interrelated color, line and form. Jones’ work plays with potential similarities between organisms, circuitry and music. Her work suggests the presence of certain mysteries that cannot be seen in objective terms.
